COLLABORATIVE PAINTING
Hillsborough, NC artist Kaidy Lewis and I worked together to create this painting.
How do two people create one painting? Well, paintings usually require multiple sittings before they are complete. For a collaborative piece, one artist starts the mark making on canvas, then passes it off to the next artist. Each of us reacting to what is happening on the canvas. Eventually, both of us find it ready to release into the world.
